River Being is an interdisciplinary dance performance and live sound installation for the public space, designed as a walk that takes place along river sites. The performance highlights the constant work and activity of these living systems; what can individual rivers teach us about labour, force and adaptability? In graphic suits the performers move in and on wet soil, at times submerged in the river; the work encourages noticing, empathy and care. Choreographed and performed by a dynamic team of four, dance artists Ingvild Marstein Olsen, Vera Ilona Stierli, and Olivia Edginton together with musician and composer Guoste Tamulynaite.
